I didn't set out to change my social life. It all started a few years ago when I stumbled into a community coffee club - and suddenly I was starting my mornings with people of all ages. Little did I know how life-changing it would be. Since then, my friendship group has grown to span decades, and my social life, and honestly my heart, has never been richer. What cross-generational friendships have shown me is how much we all have in common, no matter where we are in life - and how much great stuff and good times are waiting for you at 50+.

And here's the offical lowdown:

  • 15+ years as an event producer
  • Director of globally recognised awards programs
  • Published author
  • Background in tourism, marketing, and copywriting
  • Producer of health and wellness retreats for globally renowned speakers

I’m doing this because I don’t think we’re having the right conversations about life after 50. It’s often framed as something to manage or fix - with plenty of hyped-up social media to reinforce it. But I’m learning firsthand how good this stage can actually be, and it feels time to shift that narrative - to create something more real, more hopeful, and genuinely useful.

And here's the professional spiel:

  • 15+ years as a speaker
  • Founder of a digital marketing agency
  • Amazon Kindle #1 bestseller
  • Co-author of 4 business books
  • One of four Meta (formerly Facebook) Certified Lead Trainers in Australia
  • Teacher at the University of Sydney's Centre for Continuing Education
